I don't often come right out and say "This is Good Stuff, buy it and use it without fear".
Today, I sent an item I use daily through the washing machine, and the dryer, and guess what? It still works exactly as designed.
Man! That thing took a real beating, and it still works!
I'm referring to a SanDisk Cruzer Mini memory stick. This is a gizmo packed with flash memory with a USB connector. I use it to keep my favorite utilities and documents, kind of a super floppy and/or cd disk, with an attitude.
I managed to leave my 512M memory stick in my pants pocket, then threw said pants into the washing machine, then into the dryer. When I unloaded the dryer and found the memory stick, I said, "Oh....CRAP!" But when I plugged the Cruzer Mini into the USB port on my main machine, everything was still there, and usable.
This is Good Stuff. Highly Recommended, without qualification, by OWW.
