Did you see where Jane Fonda got spit upon?
As close as he was to her, he could have done much, much worse to her. And did you get the reference to Jody? And she still doesn't have a clue. Brainless dipstick. Fonda, not Mr. Smith.
Now, to be "fair", spitting in someone's face is, on the face of it (bad pun alert!) definitely "disorderly conduct". If he gets the right judge, one with a sense of humor, Mr. Smith will get a formally delivered "slap on the wrist", and stern admoniition to go forth, and sin no more.
Not likely, but one can hope, can't one?
