In addition to their splendid military history, and their all-around dedication to agitating for human rights in places that already have them, the silly twits can't hold a job:

The jobless rate in March, as measured according to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) method, rose by 0.1% from February to 10.2%.

The rate is the highest level seen since December 1999.

The unemployment level, also under ILO measurements, jumped by 7,000 to reach 2.8 million people.

They were also worse than analysts' predictions, with most commentators expecting the jobless rate to remain flat at 10.1%.



This from a country in which the government has decreed that a 35-hour work-week is the legal max.

Riiiiight!

A military jury sentenced a soldier [Sgt. Hasan Akbar - ed.] to death Thursday for a grenade and rifle attack on his own comrades during the opening days of the Iraq invasion, a barrage that killed two officers and that prosecutors said was driven by religious extremism.


The sentence is appropriate to the crime.
