- - - - - The Week In Review - - - - -

Monday - Loaf - MLK Day
Tuesday - Work
Wednesday - Work
Thursday - Work
Friday - Work

OK, that's the normal "workweek" for most folks. What's weird is that it was my workweek too!

Damn...this working-almost-full-time is strange... I was out of fulltime work for almost three years, broken up by small stints of contract work.

Annnnnnd.... next Mon-Fri is going to be:

Monday - Work
Tuesday - Work
Wednesday - Work
Thursday - Work
Friday - Work

Work-week behind me, work-week in front of me. 'Way cool!

And why am I so happy with that?

First, I'm actually WORKING.

I've worked at some job or other since I was sixteen. I've NEVER had this much difficulty finding a job. And note, my work-week consists of two part-time jobs, one at LHITWCS (Little Hole-In-The-Wall Computer Store) and the other at SGO (Small Governmental Organization), and the rate of pay at either one of them is pitifully low - which isn't a major factor. Oh, yeah, more cash would be nice, but we can survive quite nicely, thank you, on our combined incomes.

Second, the two jobs I have revolve around what I love to do; futzing with PCs. So, aside from the money issues, what's not to like?
