OK, you could, sorta, make a case for James Earl "Jimmah" Carter getting the Nobel Peace Prize. Well, you'd have to stretch a bit, but you could make a case.
However, taking just a cursory look at Arafat's record should have just knocked him right out of the running. I'm just going to name two places: Munich, Ma'alot. He was up to his elbows in both of them.
"Nobel Peace Prize"?
