- - - - - OSCE To Monitor US Elections - - - - -
As you may know, the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) agreed to "monitor" the US Presidential elections after the UN turned down the job.
So, the Europeans, who don't much like the US and really don't like George Bush, are going to monitor OUR elections.
How truly wonderful.
I would imagine that the EuroTrash will be concentrated in places like Florida. Remember Florida in 2000? The Land of the Hanging Chad? The Land of the Dis-Enfranchised Voter? Especially in counties with a Demcrat Elections Commissioner?
Oh, that wasn't widely reported, was it?
OK... remember Palm Beach County, the one with the infamous Butterfly Ballot? The Elections Commissioner in that county was a Democrat!
In the other counties with, ummmm.., questionable results? Mostly the Commissioners were Democrat.
How's about "voter intimidation". Just two words, from me. Since that offense is a Federal Felony, you'd better just "Prove It". If you're going to yell "intimidation" there'd better be good, solid, documented proof.
Oh, yeah. HERE is what set me off.
And I was all set to not blog politics at all for the remainder of the Silly Season...
