- - - - - The Future of "Blogging" - - - - -

Glenn Reynolds, the Instapundit is doing a three-part piece on the nature and future of "blogging" (which is one of the English language's uglier invented words). Here's Installment One, and here's Installment Two

Reynolds' big point:

"[I]f Big Media let their position go without a fight to keep it by fair means or foul, they'll be the first example of a privileged group that did so. So beware."

I would suspect something like this: Someone like Reynolds accuses the NY Times of bias, and cites, with a link, a NYT story. The Times sues for copyright infringement, and Reynolds goes broke defending against the suit.
