- - - - - Tropical Storm Frances - - - - -
She is now Tropical Storm Frances, and she is giving The Swamp more trouble than she did as a hurricane, mostly in short power outages.
We're getting copious amounts of rain. Wind is steady out of east-northeast at about 25MPH, gusting to 40MPH.
And, just to make my life complete, Hurricane Ivan is thrashing around out there, and looks like he's gonna make a run on the SE United States.
The in-laws have no idea what shape their houses are in. Bro-in-law Brian is making noises about running back down to Cocoa tomorrow morning. Given the probable state of the roads, I don't think that's a good idea. We've chatted, and he's going to check the advisories before making a decision.
Mom and Dad in-law are probably going to hang here until at least Tuesday.
We're all thoroughly sick of bad weather. If'n we can catch that weather god, he's gonna have some hard questions to answer....
