- - - - - An Apology from OWW to Canada - - - - -
Grrrr....
I hate it when this happens!
Last week, on Sept. 11th, I was feeling a little grumpy, and I teed off on Canada.
On Sept. 12th, I was on my down to Cocoa Beach to assist my in-laws, when I saw something that was just enough to shame me, just a bit.
OK...a lot.
Fourteen trucks.
Fourteen trucks from Canada.
Fourteen trucks from Canada from an electric utility in Ontario.
That's an awfully long drive, to do a lot of hard work, in a sub-tropical "paradise" at the height of summer.
Old Weird Ward hereby offers an apology to the fine people of Canada who sent some of their folk down south to help us in our time of need. They weren't asked. They just came.
Thanks, guys.
