- - - - - A Silent PC - - - - -

I would dearly love to have one of THESE.

We have between 2 and 4 PC's, plus one server, running around here at any one time. It does get noisy. Silence would be a small blessing.

Hmmmm....I gotta think about this.

- - - - - Linux at OWW's Place - - - - -

I'm still working with Xandros, and I still think it is the answer for OWW's desire to leave Windows upon the dustheap of history.

My biggest problem is migrating my address book and messages to Ximian Evolution, which is the Linux counterpart to Microsoft Outlook 2000.

This is needlessly complex. Evolution won't even look at Outlook's PROPRIETARY format for address books and messages. In fact, Evolution won't even look at CSV files for the address book. Instead Evolution requires either VCF files (which Outlook doesn't know about), or Mozilla Mail to have the addresses.

Grrrrr....

I'll get there, but I'm a little pissed at both Evolution and Outlook.
