- - - - - An Islamic Voice Against Terrorism, Finally - - - - -

It's been almost three long years since September 11th, 2001. Nowhere have I seen or heard a ringing denunciation against what many are pleased to call the "Islamofascist Terrorists". Now there's a site called Free Muslim Coalition Against Terrorism.

So far, they talk the talk. But, will they continue to stand up and be counted as any American ought? Or will they allow themselves to fade into obscurity and be forgotten?

- - - - - Linux Update - - - - -

I continue to migrate my stuff from Windows 2000 to Xandros, which is based on Debian Linux. I'm keeping Win2K alive and running for two minor and one major reason.

Minor #1: Haven't found a good replacement for NoteTab yet. I'm sure there's one out there, I just haven't found it. I'm looking....

Minor #2: Some years ago I found a nifty keyboard macro program called RoboType. When I type "/blue" (without the quotes) the line "- - - - - You Might Be A Blueneck If... - - - - -" magically appears. Very nifty, and I haven't found a RoboType replacement in Linux, yet.

Actually, Minors #1 and #2 have to run under KDE, which is a Windows replacement that runs on top of the Linux operating system.

Major #1: I've been having some major difficulty migrating my email from Outlook 2000 on Windows to either Mozilla Mail or Ximian Evolution on the Xandros' version of KDE+Linux. When I finally have email running to my satisfaction on Xandros' offering, I'll then feel that I'm fully migrated.

Annnnnd.....
