After slamming into Florida and doing an absolute war-dance on Punta Gorda, chewing his way through Mouseland (Orlando) and getting back out to sea around Daytona, Charley slid on by SE Georgia with little to no wind, rain, or inconvenience.
I went to bed at about 11:30PM EDT after determining (by watching the Weather Channel) that a last-minute change of course by Charley would not necessitate a panic evac of The Swamp (tm) by OWW and Crew.
I slept the sleep of the Just and the Innocent, I've now had my first cup of coffee, fed the girls their breakfast, read part of the paper, and I'm now considering, with great pleasure, my second cup of coffee. (Lord, that is a run-on sentence, isn't it?)
