- - - - At the In-Laws - - - - -
Came down to Cocoa Beach, FL, for my Mom-In-Law's birthday, and also their 54th (!) wedding anniversary.
Mrs. OWW and the girls delivered many hugs and kisses, presents were opened and oohed and ahhed over, and I got to practice my truly awful singing voice on Happy Birthday.
After a great dinner, we (bro-in-law, Mom-in-Law, Dad-in-Law, and OWW) sat down for a game of Hearts. I got whacked, but good. Mom-in-Law was low scorer, whilst yours truly got the Lady at least four times.
- - - - - Martha Stewart - - - - -
Let's see if I can get this straight: Martha Stewart and her stock broker get five months for being convicted of lying (NOT under oath, mind you!) to a "Federal Investigator" about a crime for which neither was ever charged with.
Curiosity: While being questioned by the "Federal Investigator" was Ms. Stewart given the Miranda Warning?
Moral of the Story: Say NOTHING to any "Federal Investigator" without an attorney present.
