- - - - - Al Gore Is Completely Un-hinged - - - - -

Al Gore (D - Failed Pres. Candidate) has suggested that G.W. Bush (R - Elected President) fire his National Security team immediately. In the middle of an election cycle. While fighting continues in Iraq.

In short, there's not a snowball's chance that's gonna happen.

Donald Rumsfeld, as the chief architect of the war plan, should resign today. His deputies Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith and his intelligence chief Stephen Cambone should also resign. The nation is especially at risk every single day that Rumsfeld remains as Secretary of Defense.

Condoleeza Rice, who has badly mishandled the coordination of national security policy, should also resign immediately.

George Tenet should also resign. I want to offer a special word about George Tenet, because he is a personal friend and I know him to be a good and decent man. It is especially painful to call for his resignation, but I have regretfully concluded that it is extremely important that our country have new leadership at the CIA immediately."

I pulled the above quote off of something called MoveOnPAC.ORG. Here's the link. When you're done reading the whole thing, go to the home page of MoveOnPAC.ORG. This is what Al Gore associates himself with. Draw your own conclusions.

MoveOnPAC.ORG simply states "Paid for by MOVEON PAC, website: www.moveonpac.org. This communication is not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee." There is no information about the funding for this site. From the URL, I would assume it's being run by MoveOn.ORG.

Interesting article HERE about the influence of the "blogospere" (what an ugly word) on traditional news organizations.

Bloggers build reputations the same way that newspapers do - by the quality of the writing and the "slant" of the OpEd.

For instance, I don't even pretend to be "fair and balanced". Nor do I trumpet "conservative" or "liberal" leanings. The blurb on the upper-left of this page says it all.
