FALLUJAH, Iraq April 8 — More than 280 Iraqis have been killed and 400 wounded this week in the U.S. Marines' siege of insurgents in this city west of Baghdad, the director of Fallujah's hospital said Thursday.

COMMENTARY: OK, "More than 280 Iraqis". I'll buy that. But I'd like to know, how many were shooting at the Marines? Throwing grenades? Firing RPGs? And how many were just sitting on their thumbs in places where other people were shooting at the Marines?
Why didn't ABC report on that?
The generic "Iraqis" doesn't tell me much.
Niven's Law: Do not throw baggies of dog shit at people with weapons.
Corrollary to Niven's Law: Do not stand next to people who throw baggies of dog shit at people with weapons.
