Anyone remember just who sent the Marines to Haiti to make sure that Aristide, who was originally elected to be President of Haiti?
His Slickness The First, W.J. Clinton, that's who.
Clinton sent the Marines to Haiti early in his first term, you might remember.
Now President Bush has allowed Aristide's own brand of corruption and general incompetence to catch up with him, and the Dems are saying that Bush is racist?
Hmmm....I would think that propping up a dictator-in-fact who's enormously unpopular amongst his own people, and doing so in our own backyard, is just plain stupid. Bush did the right thing to let this clown fail on his own merits.
Maybe the Haitians will get lucky, and get someone competent and honest.
Maybe. But the unfortunate history of Haiti indicates that ain't gonna happen.

OWW, Mrs. OWW, and the MTs (Midget Terroristas) were over at the neighbors, doin' up some chicken, ribs, beef, and pork loin, with trimmins, in 70-degree weather, accompanied by kids on bicycles, kids with balls and baseball bats, kids playing tag with small dogs, kids being played with by big kids, and other such important stuff.
By the time the Oscars came on, OWW and the Mrs were stuffed with all the stuff that's bad for you, supervising Bath Time, and yawning mightily on our way to bed.
Such is life in SouthEast Georgia on Feb 29th, Leap Day. When you're real lucky and the weather gods smile.
By the way, which idiot actor/actress made an utter fool of him/her -self this time? I'm sure I'll find out.
