- - - - - Howard Dean's Latest Gaffe - - - - -
While running errands and picking up the kids from school yesterday, I was listening to the Sean Hannity show. Hannity was positively livid at something that Howard Dean had said about President Bush causing the Madrid terrorist bombing.
Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh, and Michael Medved, and Neal Boortz are just as weirded out by Senator Kerry as some Democrats are by President Bush.
So, they get shrill, and make a lot of noise, and are generally very entertaining. Not quite as much fun as California politics, mind you, but pretty funny. And bit by bit, they are influencing the voters.
Annnnd, folks, I have to ask, where are the "Liberal" talk-show hosts? I know that Al Franken is launching a "Liberal" network, but there's some doubt that it will fly.
Darn it all, American politics needs a "Liberal Attack Machine", to cast doubt and vilify and demonize the Republicans.
By the way, the story that set off Hannity? It's HERE. It wasn't front-page news anywhere. I had to go digging to find it. Doesn't look all that nasty to me. Not accurate, but not all that nasty, either.
