Something that's almost certain to come up sooner rather than later is the legal nature of marriage.
Presuming that the gay marriages being performed in San Francisco are held to be legal (that's a large assumption), the legal can of worms that occurs during divorce is going to slap the happy couples right in the face.
Just consider, California is a community property state.
Speaking from experience, folks, divorce can get real ugly real fast. And, if there are children involved, it can get even uglier.
