- - - - - Bush is a Centrist? - - - - -
Dean Esmay, political commentator and self-described liberal makes a very persuasive case that the Prez is a "centrist". He also notes that regime change in Iraq was policy in the Clinton administration, and that Clinton AND Gore both supported the Iraq invasion, publicly and vocally.
See it HERE.
I've maintained for some time that the differences between the Democrats and the Republicans are so minor as to be almost invisible. This is, effectively, a one-party government.
The American people seem to like it that way, but it seems to lack flavor.
Maybe we can persuade Ross Perot to run again, and liven the place up a bit. Or maybe Ed Clark, the Libertarian candidate from the 1980's.
