Well, I have arrived in Georgia.
On Wednesday, the Ferocious Beast and myself climbed onto the airplane. One plane change and eight loooong hours later, we were decanted in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. OWW and the Midget Terrorists met us, and hauled us up to Brunswick, GA, where LDC (Large Defense Co.) has arranged temporary housing for us.
We have be out of the temporary housing by 29 Dec., so it's going to be a mad rush to find a rental joint that doesn't cost an arm and a leg by then.
We've done some house-hunting for a place to buy, and have found two possibles, one of which looks real good. More as that develops, or not, as the case may be.
In the meantime, GA weather is not up to snuff - it's colder than it has been in NorCal, but local folks assure me that this weather is not normal - it should be about ten degrees warmer. Boy, am I looking forward to that!
I'll post here when and as I can, depending on the availability of any kind of connection. I think I've mentioned before how much I despise dial-up? Yecchhh!
