I don't think there's anything better in the world than watching your kids open their Christmas presents. The ooohs, the aaaahs, the smiles, the giggles, the flying wrapping paper.
Almost as good is watching the faces of the grandparents as they watch the kids.
I've reached the age where I don't much care what, if anything, I get on Christmases and Birthdays. I do get a large charge out of watching other people, especially Mrs. OWW and the kids. Judging by the reactions, this year I Done Good.
Political and News commentary is on hold until after the New Year. I still read the papers, I'm just not commenting. I'll make up for lost time.
