In the latest Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, released in June, among the 10,000 new additions was the term "McJob," defined as "low paying and dead-end work."
McDonald's is not amused.
In an open letter to Merriam-Webster, McDonald's CEO Jim Cantalupo said the term is "an inaccurate description of restaurant employment" and "a slap in the face to the 12 million men and women" who work in the restaurant industry.
Hmm. OWW in no way regards a McDonald's as a "restaurant". McDonald's is a hamburger stand. And not all that good, at that. For my money, one of the better hamburger stands is Juicy Burger.
See the story HERE.

GFW - Gun Fearing Wussie (Kim Du Toit - I would say "see his stuff HERE)", but he's apparantly having "Technical Difficulties" at this time. Hey, Kim? Remove the digit from the orifice, please!)

LinkSys BEFSR41 Router w/4 port switch - it has NAT (Network Address Translation) for security, various ports can be closed or opened as required, and is unobtrusive. As a user, you're not even aware that it's there. Administration is browser-based. I look at the settings and stats from time to time, but mostly, it's just there and it just works.
