Still getting the Delete All Data thingie. So I do that, then HotSynch to restore all my stuff. Then I delete MobiPocket, then HotSynch again - all looks OK.
My batteries for the M105 looks like they're getting low, so I replace them. If you remove/replace the batteries in less than one minute, all your stuff is supposed to be there.
And when I turn it back on, what do I get?
Yup. "Delete All Data?" And if I answer no, the screen flickers and nothing else happens. So I reset and answer Yes, and all my stuff's gone again. So I HotSynch, and HotSynch puts one of the MobiPocket e-books (Ashes of Victory, by David Weber - see Baen on the Web) right back on there.
So I delete the e-book, then cycle the batteries in and out. And....."Delete All Data?" when I turn it back on.
After it finishes re-initializing, all the basic applications are there. But the data's gone, of course. So I hot-synch again. Then I delete all the stuff I've added over time, including all of the MobiPocket data files, like Ashes of Victory. And HotSynch again. Then do the battery remove/replace thing. Success!
Now, very carefully, re-install MobiPocket, and try the remove/replace battery operation - which sends it off to never-never-land again.
Sigh.....
