- - - - - The Move - - - - -
The Mrs. went to Georgia today, and officially starts her new job on Monday. She'll come back here for Thanksgiving Week, and then that Saturday (Nov 29) go back out to Georgia with the MTs (MT=Midget Terrorist=A Child)...
So now the schedule looks like this:
Dec 1 & 2: Movers pack up the household goods, put 'em on the truck, and go.
Dec 3,4,5: Prep for painting
Dec 5,6: Paint
Dec 7th: Post-paint cleanup
Dec 8th: Slack day to allow for Murphy's Law Dec 1 thru Dec 7
Dec 9, 10: Carpets replaced, and kitchen floor gets new linoleum. Final cleanup
Dec 11th: Final Cleanup and Slack Day for Mr Murphy. Car picked up for transport to Georgia? Turn keys over to Realtor, and hope like hell she can sell this joint quickly.
Dec 12th: Dog and I Fly to Georgia.
For the rest of it, I have developed a cold. There's concrete in my sinuses, nothing I eat tastes good, and my body aches a bit. It would be worse, but I have over the counter chemicals telling my nose it can't drip, and my body it can't ache. My body listens, kinda-sorta, then does what it wants.
Sounds: Kids playing together, nicely even!
Attitude: A Cold's Misery is not a Wonderful Thing
