Saddam and his little, socially inept buddies had a neat solution for anyone who didn't agree with him. "Let's kill 'em all," he said, "and bury them together in unmarked graves!" And so they did. See the story HERE.
This is on top of his demonstrated willingness to use war gases on his own people and on the Iranians during the Iraq/Iran War in the 1980's. So, he'd shown that Iraq not only had the capability to manufacture (with the help of the French and German chemical industries) war gases, but the will to use them.
I will not regret his death, when it happens, in the slightest.
