- - - - - "Quagmire" In Iraq - - - - -
Mrs. Du Toit has an essay on exactly what, to her, is a "Quagmire", and whether we do indeed have a "Quagmire" in Iraq. Her essay is HERE.
An excerpt: So there you have it. The quagmire that is Iraq is no such thing, because our military has been allowed to remove the gloves (somewhat). This President allows our trained and qualified generals to make the decisions and doesn't attempt to micro-manage the effort from the White House, like Kennedy did, as some sort of macabre Nintendo battle.
And for "Update 2", Thanks.
