Well, the 49ers managed to lose, in OT, at St Louis to the Rams. They had to work at it. They managed to draw 2 pass-interference penalties when they had the Rams on the ropes. Unless they improve, especially on the penalties, they will go 10-6 on the season, 0-1 in the playoffs.

OpEd article in the Murky Gnews states that New Yorkers think they're going to have another terrorist attack in their town. That's fairly likely.

Until they get the idea that we are now going to strike back (after years of just wringing our hands), terrorists will think that we are a "soft" target.

I also think that the next major terrorist attack in the US will fall in one of the major cities in this list: Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, LA, Chicago, Denver, Dallas/Ft Worth, Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Miami. Why those? Airline connections.
