Speculation is that 2 of the older members of the US Supreme Court will be retiring at the end of this term, probably in late June. Senator Charles Shumer (D-NY) suggests to the Prez that he find candidates that "can get 100 Senate votes". Yeah, sure Chuck! Remember Clarence Thomas?

I wanted to post this stuff, but when I went to Blogger.Com, I got this message:

"Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

//global.asa, line 15 "

Well, phooey! Maybe later today.

Well, Blogger.Com is back up, and we have completed the rest of our Sunday. Play-time for the kids involved our neighbor kids and the swimming pool, bicycles, scooters, bubble-wands, balls being thrown over garages, all with much shrieking and laughter.

I took the Ferocious Beast to the doggie park, which is about an acre of fenced-in land, and let her run with her buddies until all she could do was flop on the ground and thump her tail.

Dinner tonight was a tri-tip done up on the Weber kettle, with corn on the cob - simple, but Very Yummy.
