- - - - - Father's Day - - - - -

We did the Father's Day thingie yesterday. We got $50 gift certificates to Red Lobster for my Dad, and my Father in Law, called them on the 'phone to wish Happy Father's Day, and in general had a Good Time.

Then came my turn:

1. Many hugs and kisses from two youngest. I get those anyway, but lemme tell you, I ain't gonna turn down hugs and kisses.
2. Long-distance "I Love You" from the 22-year-old. She's up in the Great North West.
3. Cards from SWMBO and 2 youngest. The 8-year-old also did a hand-made card, in addition to the other one.
4. Swimming in the pool with the kids - we played "Let's Drown Daddy". I won, I think.
5. My choice for dinner. We had the Fabulous Custom Burger, assembled by SWMBO from Secret Ingredients that start with ground sirloin, but are mysterious thereafter. Corn on the cob, of course. Cooked by me, because I do 'em up on the Weber kettle, and, Ban Yumpin' Yiminy, Dat's MINE!"

Many, many, many I Love You's and Hugs from kids.

Great Day.
