Continuing on the "Blog" theme, sometimes I think that I might go from Blogger's services to a dedicated hosting service, which would give better response, faster page loads, easier/greater customization, etc.
Then I read about stuff like this from Kim du Toit:
"This website and that of the Mrs. are going to experience intermittent problems over the next two days while our host server replaces the gerbils in the wheels errr refills the kerosene tanks ummm sends the bribe check to Cisco gets new IP addresses.
Be patient -- normal service will resume after I burn their president's house down shortly. "
