Senator Robert Byrd (Dem - WVa) Doesn't think much of Shrub's method of arrival on the Prez's visit to the USS Abraham Lincoln. "I am loath to think of an aircraft carrier being used as an advertising backdrop for a presidential political slogan, and yet that is what I saw," Byrd said on the Senate floor.

This from the King of Pork? As in "Pork-barrel politics"? C'mon, gimme a break, Senator! Have you heard anyone snivel about the style of limousine YOU use when you show up at every brand-new Federal building in West Virginia to claim credit for getting the sucker built in your state?
