- - - - - Iraqis Want to Run Things Their Own Way - - - - -
So, the "average" Iraqi wants to run things the "Iraqi Way", in full accordance with their mores and customs.
The "Iraqi Way" means loot their own museums.
The "Iraqi Way" means loot their own hospitals.
The "Iraqi Way" means stone a woman who has sex outside of marriage, even if the "sex outside of marriage" is forcible rape.
The "Iraqi Way" means loot a mental hospital, right down to the water pump, and THEN rape all the female patients (reported from the LA Times, registration required, and the registration don't work. Thanks, creeps!).
These are NOT civilized persons. The "Iraqi Way" is barbarism at it's worst. I'm beginning to think that an American Imperium is the way to go - and I really, Really, REALLY don't like the idea. But somebody has to do it. And the UN has proven itself, time and again, to be (charitably speaking), ineffective at best.
