If you use Microsoft Office 2000, you haven't applied Service Release 1, then you probably shoud NOT do that, because the SR's installation will prompt you to reactivate your software. See the story HERE. Allegedly, this only happens to corporate sites that have volume licensing deals with MS.
I'm thinking very seriously of going Linux/Open Office exclusively.
