Fox reports that some of the British human shields are going home, due to "financial or safety concerns". I always thought that most Brits are smart enough to come in out of the rain, and that the real dummies (remarkably like our American variety) are really good candidates for the Darwin Awards.
I would like to remind the human shields that they are directly, through propaganda, supporting a gent who can and does perform Hitlerian/Stalinesque/Chairman Mao-like acts as a matter of course. Do you folks really want to be associated with a known practicioner of genocide?
The next time I hear someone brag that they were a "human shield" in Baghdad, I'm gonna call 'em on it. Loudly.

Off to the local park to play on the swings, the slides, the grass, the teeter-totter replacements, the pirate ship, and all that stuff. Took some pictures, which will go off to all interested parties in Good Time. We stayed for 2 hours in most un-March-like weather - sunshine, 70F.
