The rest of yesterday was eaten by small toothy gremlins with a bad attitude. Or I just got a bad case of the lazy's - take your pick. Laura had the day off, so we loafed around, walked the Ferocious Beast, had a childless lunch together (Adult Conversation! Yippee!), and in general had a fine time.
Later, we took the kids and went to our favorite pizza joint (Vito's Pizza, Sunnyvale CA, HIGHLY recommended. Click the link for details.) The folks at Vito's have worked real hard to make it a kid-friendly place. Marco (a cook), Willy, and Benny (the owner) spoil our girls rotten! Benny, the owner, is going to open a restaurant near San Jose Airport - not a pizza parlor, but a restaurant for the lunch trade. He'll be featuring southern Italian cuisine. If it's up to his usual standards, I think I'll put on another ten pounds!
