Well, the Other Big Medical Equipment Company didn't call. I no longer have any fingernails. I am, however, doing a slow burn. If these clowns can't call when they say they will, do I want to work for them at all? I'm gonna think on this a bit.
I have a "real definite maybe" proposal from a guy I've previously worked with. It involves independent contracting for a specific sector of the small business market. I need to speak with him again, for more detail on how he handles customer contact, contracts, fee schedules, and a multitude of other concerns. This could be, at the very worst, a "survival career" to pursue whilst the economy improves, if it ever does. At best, this could be very lucrative. We'll see...

Today was the first "Let's get into our short pants because the thermometer shows better than 70F all day". Dragged the Weber kettle BBQ out of the garage, and we're now fixing up some ribeyes and baked. YUM!!
