The Great Job Hunt continues. I make weekly phone calls to contacts, daily visits to web-sites that list jobs (DICE, Monster, HotJobs, FlipDog, various companies I'd like to work with), and companies with ads in the Yellow Pages.
Ward's Ideal Place to Work: A small company with 50 to 500 desktop PCs that need support, with associated network that needs attention - all within walking distance. I know, I'm dreamin' about the walking distance thing.

The time for hesitation, for talk, for "process" is over, no matter what the French, Germans and other EuroTrash say.
Saddam Hussein and his merry men are evil people. Without question, they are murderers. That they have waged wars of conquest upon their neighbors is not questioned. That they have used poison gases against their own people is documented. That they have repeatedly ignored their own given word to disarm under the terms of the 1991 cease-fire AND UN Resolution 1441 is a matter of record.
It's unfortunate that the UN is about to become irrelevant. All that potential to do the right thing is about to be wasted. The UN had it's chance, 12 years worth, to do it's job and make sure that Iraq as a nation, and Saddam Hussein as an individual did what they promised to do. And the UN blew it.
My thought to Our Guys - Remember what Patton said: "Make the other sad SOB die for HIS country."
