Did you see the first deliveries of food & medicine? Young Iraqi men fighting for, and taking all of the food/medicine/water/whatever, with the women and children afraid to come near. Afraid they'll get mugged by these yahoos, no doubt.
I don't know why everyone is so surprised that the Fedayeen Saddam would walk up in civvies, waving a white flag, and then open up with their concealed weapons. After all, these guys are all Saddam-wanna-be, and we all know what kind of treacherous scum he is. The moral is: Keep 'em covered. If you see a gun, and they so much as twitch, blow 'em away. And never turn your back on 'em.

Just rec'd a call from a recruiter that I've been working with. Big Medical Equipment Co. is supposed to call me today. Since they have been saying they will call for the last 3 weeks, I'm not holding my breath. Or at least, not too much. My finger nails, on the other hand, are disappearing.....
