I've GOT to start updating this thing more frequently. Like every single day. This is my New Year's Resolution: "Old Wierd Ward will inflict himself on an unsuspecting world much more frequently."
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Why?
I've decided that if I'm going to "bare my soul" in public, I owe my "adoring public" a more frequent dose of my charm, wit, and wisdom. Annnnnd, you might wind up in this space.
Frightening, ain't it?
I really DO wish you wouldn't laugh so hard!
Meanwhile, I've been to Oregon, and Washington. Stayed at the "Relative Bed and Breakfast" in both places. This is very cool - my sister and her hubby live in Portland OR, and my Dad lives in Olympia, WA. Good company, good conversation, good times.

California weather, like California politics, can be a little on the strange side.
Yesterday, I watched hail bounce off the roof of the garage. Temp was at 40 F at 2PM, with winds of 25 to 45 MPH. Today was sunshine, and 60F at 2 PM, winds at 10 MPH or less. Tomorrow is scheduled to be somewhere in between, with rain and wind. So, you don't like the weather? Stick around for 10 minutes, it'll change!

Sen. Trent Lott, lightning rod for Political Correctness.
Rep. Gary Condit sues author Dominick Dunne for millions.
Gov. Gray Davis still won't parole anyone convicted of murder in any degree (1st degree or 2nd degree), no matter what the Parole Board says. Calif Supremes go along with the Gov. (The Gov is a California Democrat).
