- - - - - Home Again, For A While - - - - -

Well, I made it back in time for Halloween. The Young Ladies were a Princess (the 4-year-old) and a Witch (the 8-year-old). Great fun, and they were just as cute as could be. The in-laws were in attendance, and manned the front door to handle the Trick-or-treaters, whilst SWMBO and myself shepherded the girls around the neighborhood.

The Road Trip was a mixed bag. In the southern Puget Sound area, one hospital's BioMedical Equipment Manager decided that while he wants the upgrade done, he doesn't want to answer phone calls asking for an appointment time. The other hospital's people were just as cooperative as could be, so the whole business, including explanations to the BioMed people and to the nurses, took an hour and a half. The folks in eastern WA are happy - everything now works as advertised.

Visiting with my Dad was very cool. Mostly, we sat around and talked. I stayed with him, my eldest daughter (age 21) , and my niece (age 23) for a couple of days while I was trying to get the southern Puget Sound hospitals updated.

On the other hand, I've now picked up the assignment to go to Anchorage, Alaska to do an upgrade at a hospital up there. Oh, Joy - mid November in Alaska. On the same trip, I'm going to try to do a place in Idaho, plus one in Seattle, AND hit the place in southern Puget Sound. That's going to be a Busy Week!

On the Home Front, on Friday morning, we heard a faint hissing sound in the kitchen. Took a while to track it down, but found that the water line to the refrigerator for the ice-cube maker had sprung a very small leak. In the area behind the electric stove. And the water that's leaked has migrated under the kitchen cabinets. How Truly Wonderful. I'll be attempting to get that cleaned up and dried out today.
