On the Road
Monday I get to do the road trip thing. This one's a Pain in the Butt because it's a repeat to fix some software problems that were caused by us field reps getting incorrect license files, which in turn causes odd behavior in the software that we've been running around upgrading. It wouldn't be so bad if this was just local to the Bay Area, but one of the sites is in Eastern Washington - which is one entire 8 hour day worth of travel to the site, 10 minutes to do the fix, an overnight stay, an undetermined amount of time to fix some other stuff at another site (IF there's actually a problem), and then another entire 8-hour day back to the Bay Area. Or maybe a continuation of the Road Trip up to the Seattle area to do more upgrades, and only then back to the Bay Area. Oh, Joy!
